A&A Health Services Facilities
A&A Health Services is a company that operates transitional facilities with the goal of preparing our clients to step-down to the lowest level of care that is appropriate for their unique needs. We strive to provide a homelike environment where the client, family members, friends, and supportive staff are able to interact in a recovery-oriented milieu. A&A Health Services staff provides structure, skill-building opportunities, and support to promote stabilization and foster recovery.
A&A Health Services is staffed by administrative personnel, psychiatrists, social workers and mental health clinicians Monday through Friday. Mental health workers and medical technicians provide direct care 24 hours per day, seven days a week, in accordance with state regulations.
Clinical, Rehabilitative, Life-Skill, and Recreational Groups
Groups are held daily and focus on three main areas of psychiatric and social rehabilitation:
1. Coping Skills/Emotional Regulation Skills
2. Life Skills/Independent Living Skills Through “On My Own” Program
3. Psychiatric & Substance Relapse Prevention
Clients are actively encouraged to visit with their family, friends, and supporters during their stay. With the consent of our clients, staff will speak with these supporters to develop a well-informed, person-centered plan for facilitating the best possible care.
Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the week, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Once clients have earned pass privileges, they can leave the facility with family for day visits and overnight stays (pending clinical and conservator approval).
In our attempt to maintain a drug-free facility, and for obvious safety reasons, visitors are asked to sign in and out, and allow the search of all goods/bags brought into the facility.
